Business Challenges
63 Moons Technologies have created Greenfield financial markets and ecosystem ventures across India, Middle East, Africa and South-East Asia. With their worldwide presence, they were looking for a biometric device that would seamlessly connect with different types of physical access barriers. Particularly, devices that would assist them in providing higher and tighter security for critical areas like server rooms. They wanted an effective solution to prevent tailgating while integrating fire safety. Furthermore, centralized management of access and time attendance across 7 locations in India was also a priority. Interestingly, they had earlier opted for HID readers, which they were keen to reuse with Matrix solutions
Solution Offered
Matrix proposed a foolproof solution that involves a single device to support multiple access control barriers with COSEC PATH DCFI. This offers advanced access control features like the 2-person rule for server room and local and global Anti-Passback feature to avoid tailgating. Matrix designed a solution wherein customers could efficiently reuse their existing HID readers with COSEC ARC DC100P. Furthermore, the architecture of the building enables zone-wise/ Floor-wise re integration with Matix devices for real-time door offline and device tampering alerts, across 10 floors. Through software development, Matrix has achieved to record the data of other smart cards, as well. Furthermore, it helped them to keep a close track of security in their organization, in the most efficient manner.
Conclusion
Salary Process Automated , Prevention of Tailgating , Centralized Management of 7 Locations for Access and Attendance , Higher and Tighter Security in Critical Areas Such as Server Rooms , Real-time Alerts in Case of a Security Breach
